How SpartanComm works

What actually happens between choosing a plan and your team taking its first call — and what you'll need to do yourself.

  1. 1. Choose your plan and phones

Choose how many agents you need — the per-agent price is set by team size. Add a desk phone for each person who needs one: Grandstream WP826 cordless, or Yealink T31G, T54W or T57W. People who work from their cell phone only need the mobile app.

  2. 2. Check out

Payment runs through Stripe. If you buy phones, service is free for 30 days and the trial starts with your first completed call, so shipping and setup days don't count. If you don't buy phones, the first month is charged at checkout and service is active right away.

  3. 3. Phones arrive configured

Each phone is linked to your account before it ships. Plug it into power and internet and it downloads its extension and settings over HTTPS. Shipping is free.

  4. 4. Keep your number (optional)

Send us a recent bill from your current provider and the account details it asks for. We submit and track the port. Your old service keeps working until the port completes, so don't cancel it before then.

  5. 5. Set up your team

From the web dashboard you create users and extensions, build call queues and auto-attendant menus, set business hours, and register the 911 address of each location. Extensions without a registered address can't place 911 calls, so do this before you go live.

  6. 6. Install the app

Each agent can sign in to the iOS or Android app with their account and take calls on their extension, even with the app closed.

  7. 7. Add what you need later

WhatsApp Business messaging and the AI auto-responder are optional and configured with our team when you want them.

What's on you

  • Keep a registered 911 address for every location, and update it if a phone moves.
  • Confirm that call recording complies with consent laws in the states where you operate.
  • Register for A2P 10DLC before sending automated or marketing texts.
